The Long Run

We have been living through difficult times. Experiencing rough moments can wear us down, bring down our morale and our hope for better days. It is hard to believe brighter days are coming when we are living in a chaotic present and everything is looking bleak. We have all been there, whatever it might be; it is exhausting, painful, and debilitating. It takes away our hope and optimism. Nevertheless, we have to believe that in the long run, greater things are coming.

Adversity and struggles bring us down and cause our hope to deteriorate. We need to look up and remember that we did not come to this earth to live dreary days. Among our hard times, we also have joyful moments, moments worth celebrating. We need that perspective to see outside of what we are currently living and believe what is to come. We need to see outside the box and look at the brighter spectrum of an unknown future.

Blackout the rest, focus on the gift; focus on the good things that are to come, the hope of a better future. Shift your perspective to see hope, good, joy, to see brighter days.

God says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11, ESV)

He knows and He has promised us that our future is full of greater things. All we have to do is believe and remember His promises, declaring them over our future.

Yes, it is difficult to shift our perspective when we are living through chaos. It is hard to see outside of where we are and imagine brighter days. But, we have to! Challenge yourself to see better days and imagine a future full of success, happiness, triumphs and peace.

Take the time to write down how you want your life to change from this moment of difficulty; draw it out, plan it out, envision it over your future. See it and believe it. It takes us believing it to make it happen.

It is tough to picture a brighter future when you are living through adversity, but let those struggles make you stronger. Shift your perspective, and envision how you can grow through the struggles and establish a path to a better future. Life won't always be bad, in the long run, things get better. It takes us believing it with all our heart and getting up from the knock-downs, to pursue brighter days. Don't let hardships define you, and instead use them as motivation to fight and move forward, visualizing better days to come.

It is hard to think about a future when we have endured through hard times. To believe that better days are coming, when we are currently living in chaos. We have to believe in brighter days, and be optimistic of the future. Life is not always dull, and after the storm comes a rainbow. Open your heart and mind to the possibility of better days to come. Focus on the long run, on what is to come. Even though there are difficult days, full of chaos and madness, I assure you it will not always be like this.

There is hope, there are brighter days to come. Envision it, believe it, don't lose hope. The best is yet to come.
